Dave May

David May has been a bi-vocational preacher and college professor since 2009. After serving in Beattyville, Kentucky, and Columbus, Mississippi, David began his work in Richmond in July 2023. 

David received his education at the University of North Alabama and Mississippi State University.  David's academic specialty is Criminology, working largely with troubled youths and incarcerated individuals; the work here at Richmond is his first as a family minister. David was married for 27 wonderful years to his wife Natalie, who passed from this life in November, 2021.  He has three young adult children:  James, Will, and Grace, all of whom currently reside in Mississippi. David enjoys reading, golf, motorcycle riding, traveling, and spending time with his children.
